WW1 British Maintenance Support Group Rear Echelon Flag. The rear echelon had a field dressing station, a signals command centre and an M.S.G where field repairs to anything thing from sewing to welding were under taken by a team of skilled Royal Engineers. They became the R.E.M.E in 1942.
