Sy Tot (1920-2000), trained at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts de l'Indochine, known for lacquer and silk paintings of traditional Vietnamese subjects. Nguyen Sy Tot is considered the founder of a thriving school of painting that developed in that rural district. His painting are mainly on paper and concerns themes connected with the daily life of the place where he lived. In his native village a museum was founded to collect his works and works of other local artists. This item is held at Cadmore ASIAN Office in Vietnam and will be shipped from there.
