An 1878 Silver Four Pence Coin. Near Uncirculated. Obverse – Bare head of Queen Victoria facing left, wearing ribbon in hair (effigy by William Wyon known as the "Young Head"); around, "VICTORIA D: G: BRITANNIAR: REGINA F: D:." which translates to "Victoria by the Grace of God Queen of the British, Defender of the Faith". Reverse – Shows within an open oak wreath, the numeral 4 below a crown and dividing the date 1878. Maundy Coin.
