19th Century ‘Trafalgar’ Scrimshaw artwork Tusk.
An interesting 19th century scrimshaw type tusk relating to The Battle of Waterloo depicting a lovely and accurate artwork of Napoleon to one side and a
scene of three men operating a naval ship’s cannon of the Trafalgar period to the reverse. Dated 1815 to the side, this is clearly a Napoleonic Wars 1804-1815 commemorative piece.
Measures approx 17cm.
