An antique Deccani zoomorphic calligraphic script lion. Indian ink applied by Qalam on paper and adored by gilded details. Presented in dark wood frame.
The composition is based on the poem “Nadi Ali” in homage to Imam Ali.
Initially purchased at a Gallery in the Grand Bazaar of Istanbul approximately 30 years ago.
