Circa early 1900’s Leather Fireman’s Pickelhaube from the Nassau Region of Germany. They were constantly on standby for the Zeppelin Mooring Mast at Weilburg, until the tragic disaster of the LZ-5 that was wrecked during a storm in 1910. A fine condition helmet with an amazing history.
